For our Dental PatientsThese are the most commonly asked questions we receive. If you have a question, not addressed below, please feel free to contact our office. Also, please see our Patient Information papers that address the latest industry-wide patient concerns and interests. The following pages are provided to help prepare you and your family for a great experience in our office. Please give us a call at (503) 446-2957 if you have questions: Your First VisitThis visit will include x-rays that will allow the doctors to view the structure of your jaw, the position of any teeth that have not yet erupted, malformed roots and tooth decay. If you have had a full-mouth series of films within the last three years, please bring a copy with you. Your previous dentist will be able to provide these to you. Your doctor will complete a comprehensive examination and we will collect your full medical history including all your current medications and any recent illness. This will help your doctor to select the safest and most effective method of treatment for you. After carefully examining your records, we will fully explain any recommended treatment and cost. ParkingComplimentary covered parking is provided in the Smart Park Garage, located on SW 10th Ave, between Yamhill and Morrison. For those patients with special needs, please contact our office for special parking arrangements. Regular AppointmentsPreventative dentistry relies on good oral hygiene and regular dental care and is important throughout your life, whatever your age. By practicing good oral hygiene at home and visiting the doctor regularly, you will help prevent dental problems and save time and money. In the process, you can save your teeth and gums.
